How to Update Aadhar Card Online:
There are many situations that we have to change our mobile numbers or change the house from one place to another for various reasons. At that time your house address also changes. So you have to update the new address or update the new mobile in the Aadhar card also. In our earlier articles we have mentioned How to Check Aadhar Card Status. In the same way, this is also a very simple process for aadhar card correction. What you need is just read this simple guide and follow the instructions given below. There are 2 ways to update your address. They are:
1. Aadhar Card update by Online
2. Adhar Card update by Offline
Procedure to Change or Update Aadhar Card Address Online:
1. Just open the web browser and open the site mentioned below uidai.gov.in/update-your-aadhaar-data.html
2. Have a look On the left side there will be 'Update your Aadhaar data'. Go into that
3. Then go to 'Update Data Online'. After that a new tab will open like this 'Aadhaar Self Service Update Portal'.
4. Read the instructions given clearly once and After reading, go to 'To submit your update/ correction request online please'
5. Enter your Aadhar Card Number and enter the text in the image and then go to send OTP.
6. You will get OTP to your registered mobile number. Enter that.
7. After that you will get some fields. Select the field which you want to update like Name, Gender, DOB, Address, Mobile Number etc., Select that and go to submit button.
8. Update your details there and proceed. And now you have to upload the valid and self attested document proof.
9. Select the type of proof of identity and then upload it and then submit it. One thing you have to remember here. Your uploading file should not exceed the size of 2 MB.
10. That's it. After submitting the documents, you will receive an URN number.
